The Roaring Fork Transportation Authority provides several money saving and convenient ways to pay for your ride.
CASH - Cash is always welcome but exact fare is always needed to ride the bus. The driver can not make change.
PUNCH PASSES - Punch Passes can be used for any fare destination (except Maroon Bells) and are transferable, making them economical and convenient. Punch Passes come in two denominations: $29.50 Punch Pass which has a value of $40.00 worth of rides, and a $14.75 Punch Pass which has a value of $20.00 worth of rides.
Where can I purchase passes? Photos for Valley passes can only be obtained at the Aspen Bus Facility weekdays between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. After your photo has been taken you can get your passes from Rubey Park. Monthly validation stickers are sold at Rubey Park Transit Center in Aspen. The price will be prorated as the season continues. Pictures for Hogback passes can be taken at Glenwood City Hall. For complete information call 384-4971.
Grand Hogback Monthly Passes - A monthly pass for the Hogback Bus Service is now available. The pass is good for unlimited rides from the 1st to the last day of the month for rides on RFTA and Ride Glenwood Buses between and within Rifle, Silt, New Castle and Glenwood Springs. The picture pass can only be purchased at the Glenwood Spring City Hall Finance Department. Adult Pass cost is $92.00 for an adult Chamber pass, and $64 for youth ages 6 through 18, high school students must have school id to obtain pass. Monthly stickers are sold by the calendar month only.
Roaring Fork Valley Monthly Passes - Adult $163/Youth $89 With this photo I.D. pass you can ride anywhere between Aspen and New Castle, as often as you like for one monthly fee. Youth ages are 6 through 18. Monthly validation stickers are sold exclusively at the Rubey Park Transit Center in Aspen and the Aspen Bus Maintenance Facility. Monthly stickers are also available at Glenwood City Hall. Monthly stickers are sold by the calendar month only.
