The Roaring Fork Transportation Authority provides several money saving and convenient ways to pay for your ride. CASH - Cash is always welcome but exact fare is always needed to ride the bus. The driver can not make change. STORED VALUE BUS CARDS- Stored Value Bus Cards can be used for any fare destination (except Maroon Bells) and are transferable, making them economical and convenient. Stored Value Bus Cards come in two denominations: $29.50 Punch Pass which has a value of $40.00 worth of rides, and a $14.75 Punch Pass which has a value of $20.00 worth of rides. If you have a punch pass, it will be valid until June 30, 2013. |

Where can I purchase passes? Photos for zone passes can only be obtained at the Aspen Bus Facility weekdays between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. Monthly validation stickers for youth and Hogback passes are sold at Rubey Park Transit Center in Aspen, or at the Aspen Maintenance Facility. Pictures for Hogback passes can be taken at Glenwood City Hall. The seasonal zone pass price will be prorated as the season continues when you purchase the pass at the Aspen Maintenance Facility.
Grand Hogback Monthly Passes - A monthly pass for the Hogback Bus Service is now available. The pass is good for unlimited rides from the 1st to the last day of the month for rides on RFTA and Ride Glenwood Buses between and within Rifle, Silt, New Castle and Glenwood Springs. The picture pass can only be purchased at the Glenwood Spring City Hall Finance Department. Adult Pass cost is $92.00 for an adult Chamber pass, and $64 for youth ages 6 through 18, high school students must have school id to obtain pass. Monthly stickers are sold by the calendar month only. Please note that none of the RFTA bus passes are valid on Ride Glenwood buses.
Roaring Fork Valley Monthly Passes - RFTA has 30 Day Zone passes available now. These passes are not contingent on the calendar month but start when you first use them. 30 Day Zone pass prices are as follows: Between Aspen and Aspen Village: $62.00; Between Aspen and Basalt: $120.00; Between Aspen and El Jebel: $150.00; and Between Aspen and Carbondale/ Glenwood Springs/ New Castle: $163.00.
