The Roaring Fork Valley Local route offers the rider an opportunity to travel throughout Glenwood, Carbondale, El Jebel, Basalt, Snowmass Village and Aspen. Riders can meet with connecting buses at the Brush Creek and Hwy 82 Lot to travel to Snowmass Village or Woody Creek. In Glenwood Springs connecting buses can travel to Silt, New Castle and Rifle via the Hogback route.
Headsigns are designated with an “L” (local) or “X” (express). Local bus headsigns indicate the furthest destination served. Express bus headsigns indicate the first and last destinations served.
At the bus stop please remember to use the white paddle at the bus stop to signal the driver that you want to be picked up. This is especially helpful at night. If you have to cross Hwy 82 in your commute, please be very careful.
There are several new technologies to enhance your commute including free Wi-Fi at the VelociRFTA BRT stations and on buses. Also at the stations find next bus signs that tell you exactly when your next bus will be arriving. Use the ticket vending machines at these stations and get a minimum of a 26% discount over cash.
