RFTA is partnering with the White River National Forest, Basalt Regional Library, Glenwood Springs Branch Library, and Pitkin County Library to offer a new shuttle pass checkout program for area library cardholders. Cardholders can check out a Maroon Bells shuttle pass, helping reduce cost barriers to visiting one of Colorado’s most iconic destinations.
Each participating library will have one pass available for checkout each day on a first-come, first-served basis. Each pass is valid for up to four people and includes the Maroon Bells Scenic Area daily use fee, parking at Aspen Highlands, and shuttle transportation from Aspen Highlands to the Maroon Bells Scenic Area.
A single day pass can be checked out for seven days from the Basalt and Glenwood Springs libraries, and for three days from the Pitkin County Library, allowing flexibility for pickup and return.
