This Earth Day, RFTA is celebrating forward progress on our Climate Action Plan. RFTA officially adopted a Climate Action Plan in May of 2023, and this Earth Day, we’re celebrating our third year of making concentrated efforts to lower our carbon footprint and greenhouse gas emissions.
Transportation is the largest source of greenhouse gas emissions in the United States. RFTA is dedicated to taking action and using a data-driven framework to reduce our emissions and offset regional greenhouse gas emissions.
