The City of Glenwood is getting a facelift for it's roads and pedestrian bridge. Beginning this Wednesday, March 17th and continuing throughout June the Grand Avenue Paving Project (GAPP) will enter it's Part 2 phase. While this paving is in process, several bus stops have been changed. Please click here for a map and more information. The pedestrian bridge crossing the Colorado River next to Grand Avenue will also undergo work beginning March 15th. From April 5th to May 28th this bridge will be closed. The City of Glenwood will be assisting the public with extra shuttles at this time. Please click here for more information. The zone passes for RFTA are increasing by 10% and our cash fares have increased by 22% recently. This might make you wonder how the actual bus fare fits into the whole transit mile pie. This year RFTA was (again) awarded the Large Transit Agency of the Year from CASTA (the Colorado Association of Transit Agencies). Additionally our CEO won Administrator of the Year which he definitely deserves. Lastly we won Marketing Program of the Year. We are thrilled with these aknowledgments and thank you for being a part of our success!
