RFTA is planning to deploy several ITS technologies as part of the velociRFTA Bus Rapid Transit project. RFTA’s technology program will include fixed route scheduling software, an AVL/CAD transit management system, real time bus arrival signs, web-based customer information, Wi-Fi on buses and electronic fare payment systems including electronic fareboxes and ticket vending machines.
