RIO GRANDE TRAIL WINTER CLOSURE NOTICE

CATHERINE BRIDGE TRAILHEAD TO HOOKS LANE TRAILHEAD

Effective November 30th at 5 pm

The Catherine Bridge Trailhead to Rock Bottom Ranch (on Hooks Spur Rd) section will be closed for the winter season.This section is closed to all public entry from 5 pm on November 30th through April 30th, 2018 to protect wildlife habitat.
We would like to encourage all trail traffic to be considerate and quiet starting November 20th for any early wildlife migration. Dogs are prohibited on this portion of the trail year around.

Detour
The signed winter detour utilizes county roads between Catherine Bridge and Hooks Lane trailheads. The trail continues through ranch lands alongside Hook Spur Road for an additional 2 miles ending at the trailhead parking lot located at Hooks Lane.
