GRAND AVENUE BRIDGE DETOUR PUBLIC TRANSIT ROUTES
These routes are effective: August 14, 2017 through November 22, 2017
FREE – For the duration of the bridge closure there is no cost to ride the Hogback bus between Parachute and Glenwood Springs and the three downtown Glenwood Springs shuttles. For destinations beyond the Glenwood Springs 27th Street Station (to CMC, Carbondale, El Jebel, Basalt, Snowmass Village and Aspen) you will have to pay your fare at the 27th Street Station in Glenwood Springs.

SERVICE ALERTS
GAB SHUTTLES & RIDE GLENWOOD
All of the current Grand Avenue Bridge shuttles within Glenwood Springs and the modified Ride Glenwood route will continue to run through Wednesday, November 22, 2017. Even if the bridge opens early, these shuttles will stick to these running dates.
Ride Glenwood will return to its normal route on Thursday, November 23, 2017, servicing all regular stops except the stops at 6th and Maple Street. There will be no Ride Glenwood service on Donegan Road. Click here for Ride Glenwood information.
GRAND HOGBACK
The last day of Parachute service is Wednesday, November 22, 2017.
Hogback Buses will run the current same scheduled times through December 8, 2017 with these route changes:
- After the bridge opens and through November 22nd, Hogback buses will transfer passengers directly at the Amtrak station instead of North of the pedestrian bridge.
- On November 23rd through December 8th, Hogback buses will travel along Grand Avenue to 27th Street to transfer upvalley passengers and the Amtrak Station will no longer be served.
- Starting December 9, 2017, the regular Winter schedule will take effect and all services go back to pre-bridge travel. Click here to view the Winter Hogback Schedule starting on December 9.
FARE ALERT
Ride Glenwood and RFTA service within the Glenwood Springs zone (27th St. to West Glenwood Park & Ride) will begin to charge fares again starting on November 23, 2017.
Hogback Bus service will remain FARE FREE between Rifle and Glenwood Springs through December 8, 2017. Please check the fare chart below for fares starting December 9, 2017.

DETOUR ROUTES IN DOWNTOWN GLENWOOD SPRINGS

North Pedestrian Bridge to/from West Glenwood Springs Mall
7 Days a Week – FREE – no cost to ride
This route travels between the Glenwood Springs Mall and the base of the pedestrian bridge on the north side of the bridge by the Hotel Colorado. This route travels via Donegan Road and Highway 6.
RUNNING TIMES MONDAY – FRIDAY:
6:00am – 9:30am – Every 15 minutes
9:30am – 2:30pm – Every 20 minutes
2:30pm – 8:00pm – Every 15 minutes
RUNNING TIMES SATURDAY – SUNDAY:
6:00am – 8:00pm – Every 20 minutes all day long

27th Street Station to/from Amtrak Station
7 Days a Week – FREE – no cost to ride
This route provides passenger access between the base of the new pedestrian bridge on the south side of the bridge by Amtrak and the 27th Street BRT Station via 8th Street and Grand Avenue.
RUNNING TIMES 7 DAYS A WEEK:
5:48am – 9:00am – Every 8-10 minutes
9:00am – 3:00pm – Every 15 minutes
3:00pm – 7:30pm – Every 8-10 minutes

West Glenwood Park & Ride to/from 27th Street & Roaring Fork Market Place
7 Days a Week – FREE – no cost to ride
This route travels between the West Glenwood Park and Ride and the 27th Street BRT Station and Roaring Fork Market Place along Wulfsohn Road and Midland Avenue.

6:00am – 9:30am – Every 15 minutes
9:30am – 2:30pm – Every 20 minutes
2:30pm – 7:30pm – Every 15 minutes
