Getting From Aspen/Pitkin
County Airport to Aspen and Snowmass Winter 2007-8
The Roaring Fork Transit Agency provides
bus service from Aspen/Pitkin County Airport to Snowmass and Aspen as well
as all points in the Roaring Fork Valley. To find how to connect to Basalt,

Airport
to Aspen
The bus stop for Aspen is directly
in front of the airport on Highway 82 and the trip is free. The first bus
to Aspen departs the bus stop directly in front of the airport at 5:32 am.
After the 5:32 am there are buses all day at :02 and :32 after each hour
through 1:02 pm. All buses have stops
through Aspen and terminate at the Rubey Park Transportation Center one
block from the Silver Queen Gondola in the heart of Aspen.
Airport to Snowmass
The bus stop for Snowmass is on the opposite side of Highway 82 from
the airport (there is a traffic light) and the cost is $3.00. Exact
change is required on all fare buses. The first bus to Snowmass departs
the bus stop at 6:23 am. After 6:23 am, buses depart every 30 minutes
at :23 and :53 after the hour until 2:53 pm. This is the same bus
one can take to downvalley locations (see
valley service page).
