No Fare! No Fare! No Fare!
No fare. Going from Aspen to Snowmass; No fare.
Going from Snowmass to Aspen; No Fare.
Going From BC82 Intercept Lot to Aspen or Snowmass ;No Fare.
How can this be? Thanks to a subsidy from the Elected Officials Transportation Committee (EOTC) there will be no fare charged between Aspen and Snowmass. The EOTC decided to subsidize the fare in attempt to decrease traffic congestion and lower pollution. Enjoy the ride.

Summer Bike Loading Information
Due to construction that is schedule to end soon,on the Carbondale/Hwy 133 bridge bikes can not be taken into Carbondale on the bus. So if you are travelling upvalley from Glenwood your bike can be loaded unto to the bus until Aspen Glen. However at Aspen Glen it must be taken off the bus. If your travels continue upvalley you can reload your bike at the Catherine Store stop until you reach Buttermilk in Aspen.
Conversely if you are travelling downvalley the bike must be taken off the bus at Catherine Store and can be reloaded unto the bus at Aspen Glen for further downvalley
travel. The only exception to this bike loading situation are the Direct Express buses which do not stop in Carbondale.
This situation will continue until bridge construction has reached the point where buses with bikes can safely cross the bridge. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
Downtown Carbondale Construction
The Carbondale Pool stop remains closed. Sixth Street is now closed so RFTA buses must continue to stay on the same detour route used over the last couple of weeks which is: Left on Colorado Ave – right on Eighth St. – right on Main St. to Subway stop. When construction is complete the old route will resume. Thank you for your patience.

Zipline Route!
The Zipline will provide a zippy ride from Aspen to Glenwood and selected points in between. This route will offer riders an off-peak option for making a fast trip from Aspen to Glenwood and back: starting at Rubey Park at 9am, and arriving in Downtown Glenwood at 10am - stopping only at Park & Rides and few major stops.

The return trip will leave the West Glenwood Park & Ride at 2:45 pm (Downtown Glenwood at 2:53) and arrive back at Rubey Park about 3:50pm. By eliminating many stops made by the typical Valley routes, RFTA is able to reduce the travel times from one end of the valley to another.
This route will also run on weekends, so it’s a great option for up valley residents to take the bus to Glenwood for a lunch and shopping trip, or head to the Hotsprings Pool or Vapor Caves to “soak it all in.” No need for your car at all: once in Glenwood, do all your errands via the free Ride Glenwood bus...read more including schedule.
