Kids on Buses for Special Activities

Many local daycares and day camps utilize RFTA's bus system to take their kids to special events. Please click here to check out our guidelines for large groups to help your activity move forward without any snags.

Service in Severe Weather

Call RFTA information at 925-8484 to see if the buses are running on time. Dress in layers for added warmth and comfort. The bus may not be able to stop on hills. If possible please wait on level ground. Use extra care entering and exiting the bus as the aisles and steps may be slippery. Be extra careful of your first step getting off the bus as it maybe icy.

Special Needs

Almost all RFTA buses have a wheelchair lifts. Many bus have low floors for easy entrance and exit.

Seniors and disabled individuals unable to use regular bus service may be eligible for ADA Para-transit within the city limits of Aspen and Glenwood Springs. For additional information click here or call 925-8484.

Bikes on Buses

RFTA buses are equipped to hold up to four bicycles during summer months at a cost of $2.00. For complete bikes on buses information click here.

Animals on Buses
