    The Roaring Fork Transportation Authority provides several money saving and convenient ways to pay for your ride.

Cash

    Cash is always welcome but exact fare is always needed to ride the bus. The driver can not make change.

Punch Passes 

    Punch Passes can be used for any fare destination (except Maroon Bells) and are transferable, making them economical and convenient.    

Punch Passes come in two denominations:

$24.00 Punch Pass has the value of $40.00 worth of rides.

$12.00 Punch Pass has the value of $20.00 worth of rides.

Commuter Passes

    RFTA also offers seasonal and monthly photo I.D.  passes.

Purchase in Aspen Only

                    Photo and passes can only obtained at the Aspen Bus Facility weekdays between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm. Monthly validation stickers are sold at Rubey Park Transit Center in Aspen and at the Aspen Maintenance Facility. 

Grand Hogback Monthly Passes 

     A monthly pass for the Hogback Bus Service is now available. The pass is good for unlimited rides from the 1st to the last day of the month for rides on RFTA and Ride Glenwood Buses between and within Rifle, Silt, New Castle and Glenwood Springs. The picture pass can only be purchased at the Glenwood Spring City Hall Finance Department.

    Adult Pass cost $77 for adults and $46 for youth ages 6 to 18, high school students must have school id to obtain pass. Chamber members can purchase the adult pass for $72.

Roaring Fork Valley Monthly Passes--Adult $118/Child $64

    With this photo I.D. pass you can ride anywhere between Aspen and Glenwood Springs, as often as you like for one monthly fee. Monthly validation stickers are sold exclusively at the Rubey Park Transit Center in Aspen and the Aspen Bus Maintenance Facility.

Ride Glenwood Springs Passes

      Picture Monthly Pass cost $20 and can only be purchased at the Glenwood Springs City Hall. The pass is good for unlimited rides within Glenwood Springs and are good from the 1st day of the month to the last day of the month.

      RFTA Punch Passes can be used on the Ride Glenwood Springs Bus.

     20-Day Punch Card cost $20 and is good for unlimited rides on Ride Glenwood Springs Buses and RFTA Buses within Glenwood Springs. The passes can be purchased within Glenwood Springs at Safeway, City Market, City Hall and the Glenwood Springs Chamber.
