Conditions of Employment
Eligible
applicants must:
- Be at least 21
years of age.
- Present a
clean and neat appearance.
- Possess a
currently valid driver's license with no more than six points
assessed against it during the past one year period. In order to
start work have a current Colorado Commercial Driver's License
(CDL-BP2). This may be part of your pre-employment training.
- Have no
pending convictions for "Driving Under the Influence", or
"Ability Impaired", by alcohol or drugs, nor convictions for
either offense, within the three years.
- Be able to
successfully complete a Department of Transportation (DOT),
physical and eye examination. The cost of these exams will be
paid by RFTA.
- Be able to
provide employment eligibility documentation as defined by the
Immigration Reform Control Act of 1989. RFTA will not secure
work visas.
- Have a working
home or cell phone number where you can be reached.
- Be available
to work days or nights, any day of the week. We allow employees
to have other employment, however, we do not schedule around
other jobs.
- Be willing to
submit to pre-employment, and random, drug and alcohol tests.
